Yotl Ramirez is a dedicated professional who became the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Youth Outreach Services (YOS) in 2015. With over 17 years of experience and a master’s degree in accounting, he leads the financial department at YOS. His strong commitment and extensive expertise allow him to effectively manage the organization’s administrative, financial, and risk management functions. Mr. Ramirez oversees both the internal accounting team and an outsourced personnel team from the firm Quattro. Before joining YOS, he held similar roles in the homeless services sector, working with notable organizations such as San Jose Obrero Mission and Franciscan Outreach.
As CFO, Mr. Ramirez is responsible for the regular and thorough preparation of financial statements for the executive director. He manages bill payments, account reconciliations, data entry related to fiscal management, billing and income reporting, and payroll. Financial reports, including flash reports, balance sheets, and income and expense reports, are prepared monthly and at year-end.
Yotl earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and his Master of Business Administration from Robert Morris University. Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf and going to the movies with his three children: Angelica, Yotl Jr., and Chloe Ramirez.
