- Recruiting and providing ongoing support to the executive director
- Guiding and supervising the strategic planning process
- Collaborating closely with staff in comprehensive program planning
- Evaluating, enhancing, and overseeing our programs and services
- Partnering with the executive director and fundraising team to secure financial resources
- Approving an annual budget and implementing robust financial management practices
- Upholding the organization’s legal and ethical standards
- Welcoming and training new board members, as well as evaluating the board’s overall effectiveness
